| Bald Eagles of San Juan Island On the west coast of San Juan island, bald eagles have never been hard to find. We have posted some of the better pictures that we have taken of bald eagles and their nests. Bald eagles generally roost near water on a high stick platform. The nest, usually placed near the top of a tall conifer, is quite substantial. Every year, the eagles add new branches to the nest. The nest that our eagles have built is now somewhat over six feet across. http://www.theragens.com/photos/Bald_Eagle_Photos.htm Wild Animals Online - Eagle Picture Newer website that is still growing.
